This Austin Healey BN1 100/4 presents an opportunity to own one of the most desirable British sports cars ever built. Produced between 1953 and 1956, only 10,000 of these cars were built and from that only 405 RHD cars were delivered to Australia making these cars highly collectable and increasingly rare. This car is a factory RHD car as verified by the VIN number. In Carmine Red over a contrasting cream interior, this 100/4 presents in excellent condition for its age. This Healey has been meticulously maintained and shows only 27,497 miles on the odometer.

The 100/4 was the first of theBig Healey’s” – its powerful 90hp 2660cc inline-4 engine, allowing the car to reach 100mph with ease. The 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive, shifts seamlessly and the steering feels precise. Set up for touring, this example has been described as one of the best driving 100/4’s in the country, and is in excellent mechanical condition. Ready to be driven and enjoyed, this Austin-Healey 100/4 holds a special place in British motoring history, and would complement any garage or collection.

The original Service Manual also accompanies this stunning vehicle.

The compact sports roadster is a flagship shape for British car manufacturers, and no-one did it better than Austin-Healey. They are known for their raw and agile personality, providing the classic roadster feel. These cars were developed by Donald Healey on Austin A90 Atlantic mechanicals and first were shown at the 1952 London Motor Show as the Healey Hundred, after their ability to reach 100mph (160km/h). The body was built by Jensen Motors at their West Bromwich factory, while the mechanical components came from Austin’s Longbridge facility.
